I finally finished three more clipboards. I like the teal one the best so far. I think it is because I like how the letters on the name coordinate so well with the rest of it. ;o) I have plenty of supplies to make more but I need to buy more clipboards. I will keep updating as I create more. So far each one is unique and that is the way I plan to keep it. - Leah

Reese's Quilt
This one was definitely a group effort! I wanted to make my son a quilt and definitely wanted it to be in the blue family. Of course, Mom and Rae, helped me through the entire process. We took this one to a lady to have it quilted and she was able to make a Noah's Ark design with the quilting. I love the colors and detail of this quilt and Reese loves it, too! - Leah

School Spirit Shirt
I have transfered to a new school and decided I wanted to make myself a custom school spirit shirt. I'm not sure why I decided I wanted to do this but I did. I remembered the cute sorority shirts from my college days (not that I owned one) and decided to search for ideas. I came across some similar to what I wanted on etsy and Facebook so I told Mom that we were going to attempt to create my vision. Rachel helped me pick the font for the letters and Mom guided me through the whole process. I am pleased with it and can't wait to wear it at my new school! - Leah

Altered Clipboards
I saw some cute altered clipboards on a web site and decided to give it a go myself. I have since become addicted to buying cute scrapbook paper for future clipboards. I also want to make one for every teacher friend I have but that can add up to some serious cash so I am trying to pace myself. ;o)
Before I actually attempted the project, I researched a little on the internet to try to come up with the best plan of action and this is the website that I liked the best.
Here are pictures of the first two that I made. I will post more pictures as I finish more. - Leah

Quick & Easy Pincushion
Folk Dance
Anna Maria Horner is an amazing artist! Her fabric designs and sewn creations are whimsy, colorful, and full of fun. All that she does is delicious to my eyes and an inspiration to my imagination. With that said, we came across her Folk Dance quilt a while back, I believe it was towards the end of last year, and I loved it so much I wanted to try it out. This is our take on her pattern...

Sleepy Heads
Seoul Sisters
Two precious litte girls head out to Seoul with their Mom to spend the next two years supporting their Dad as he defends our Great County. What better way to remember the warm hearts of family and friends all the way back in Texas than with two pint-sized quilts. Our prayers go with you - Hugs Terry
Jenna's Quilt
In honor of Jenna's graduation, we decided to make her a quilt. Thanks Mechelle for letting us know her favorite colors. Fabric selection from Joanne's (the Beaumont Super Joanne's has a wonderful fabric department). Tio Doc picked the quilt pattern and helped with thread trimming and ironing. Lucy quilted it with veriegated purple thread in a meandering pattern. May the warmth of this quilt remind you how much your family loves you - Terry
Kyle's Quilt
For my husband's birthday this year I wanted to make him a quilt. Well it didn't get done in time for his birthday but I like the 'ol saying "better late than never." I love the colors and fabrics. Mom's friend, Lucy, did a great job of quilting the piece with a veriegated turquoise thread. I need to get a better picture of the finished back of the quilt but I do like the way we pieced it together. My son, Reese, also helped GiGi sew. Each project really is a family affair. ;o) - Leah
